Mehran started his theatre journey in high school, then continued it academically to get Masters in Theatre and Performing Arts. His name has appeared in more than 150 productions as writer, director, designer, stage manager and actor in Iran, NSW, QL and Denmark.
He has been lighting design lecturer at Excelsia college, tech manager at SydneyTheatre School, Production Manager at Actor Centre Australia, and Tech manager at Bondi Feast. He is the Technical Manager at The New Theatre.
His recent credits in light and sound design are “Dorian Grey Naked” at limelight, “The Dark Voyager” at Castle Hills Pavilion “My Night with Reg” at The New Theatre, “Balmain Sinfonia -Schumann Piano Concerto” at Italian Forum, “Neighbourhood Watch” at the New Theatre and “Persuasion” at Genesian Theatre (2019) which he won the Best Broadway Awards for Lighting Designer and the Best Sound Design.
